Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and develop evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to implement health education programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for policymakers and public health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct field investigations for public health emergencies and outbreaks
- Develop data visualization tools for public health campaigns
- Coordinate with state and federal health agencies on compliance and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and GIS mapping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for community engagement
- Valid California Driver's License for fieldwork requirements
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
