Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Manage departmental budgets and secure federal/state grants for health programs
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends
- Collaborate with community organizations on health education initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams of health professionals and support staff
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health program management
- Valid Missouri Public Health Administrator certification
- Proven expertise in grant writing and budget management for health programs
- Strong analytical skills with experience in epidemiological data interpretation
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and public education
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and CDC compliance standards
- Experience with health information systems (e.g., EHR, surveillance databases)
