Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health intervention programs targeting NYC's underserved populations
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with city health departments and community organizations
- Manage grant budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal reporting requirements
- Lead public health emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks
- Supervise team of public health specialists and interns
- Present policy recommendations to senior leadership and legislative bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- NY State Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in health data analytics tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Strong knowledge of NYC's public health landscape and community demographics
- Valid NYS Driver's License
