Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate health services
- Oversee grant-funded programs ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations across Nashville
- Manage departmental budget allocations and resource allocation for health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management or government healthcare
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and health informatics systems
- Proven track record of managing emergency response operations
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee public health regulations and CMS guidelines
- Exceptional communication skills for community engagement and stakeholder management
