Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive public health strategies for disease prevention and health promotion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement community health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and policymakers
- Monitor compliance with federal/state public health regulations and grant requirements
- Lead community outreach programs to enhance health literacy and access
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or policy development
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of CDC/PH guidelines and healthcare regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex data
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel countywide
