Responsibilities
- Coordinate city-wide emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Develop and execute pandemic preparedness strategies across 7 Minneapolis districts
- Manage inter-agency communications with FEMA, CDC, and state health authorities
- Train 50+ healthcare personnel on emergency response procedures
- Analyze health data to predict and mitigate emerging threats
- Oversee supply chain logistics for medical equipment distribution
- Lead community outreach initiatives during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in crisis response coordination
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Proficiency in health data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, SAS)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during emergency activations
- Experience with federal grant reporting (HRSA, CDC)
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
