Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Oversee grant management and compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends
- Lead cross-departmental health initiatives with city/state partners
- Manage a team of health professionals and community outreach specialists
- Prepare detailed reports for county commissioners and state health departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health administration experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proven expertise in grant writing and federal compliance (CDC, HRSA)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $2M
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
