Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for intervention
- Develop evidence-based reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal health agencies on emergency response initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead community outreach programs to educate residents on health initiatives
- Supervise junior analysts and oversee project timelines deliverables
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health analysis or policy development
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance reporting
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel within the county
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
