Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and outbreak patterns
- Develop evidence-based public health policies and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with state/local agencies to coordinate emergency health responses
- Present findings to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and public briefings
- Manage federal grant compliance and funding allocation for health programs
- Lead community health assessments and needs analysis initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years analyzing public health data using statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Experience developing health policy recommendations for government agencies
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive health data access
