Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and emerging threats
- Develop evidence-based reports and recommendations for health policy development
- Coordinate disease surveillance systems and outbreak response protocols
- Collaborate with community partners on health education initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and local health ordinances
- Manage public health grant applications and budget allocations
- Present findings to stakeholders via dashboards and public forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or research
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Strong knowledge of Texas public health regulations and reporting requirements
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
