Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Develop and implement public health surveillance systems for infectious disease monitoring
- Collaborate with community partners to design targeted health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and local health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and federal program management
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergency response
