Responsibilities
- Analyze statewide public health data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for intervention
- Develop and implement evidence-based health promotion programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy briefs for senior leadership and legislative stakeholders
- Coordinate with local health departments, NGOs, and community organizations to align health initiatives
- Monitor program effectiveness using KPIs and recommend data-driven improvements
- Stay current with federal/state health regulations and emerging public health threats
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health analysis or program development
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of Healthy People 2030 objectives and public health frameworks
- Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce technical reports
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel statewide for site visits
