Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Develop and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for city officials and stakeholders
- Coordinate interagency partnerships to address systemic health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Advise on policy recommendations using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote health equity and access
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance management
- Strong understanding of health equity principles and social determinants of health
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data
- Knowledge of Massachusetts public health regulations and frameworks
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (for occasional field visits)
