Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health datasets to identify disease trends and emerging health threats
- Develop and evaluate intervention programs targeting high-priority health disparities
- Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations for county commissioners and public health officials
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to implement outreach initiatives
- Monitor compliance with federal/state public health regulations and grant requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions to address community health concerns
- Stay current with CDC/WHO guidelines and emerging public health technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in health data analysis or public program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (SAS, R, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of epidemiological methods and health informatics
- Experience with grant reporting and compliance for federal/state programs
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to present technical data to non-technical audiences
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
