Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance initiatives
- Analyze public health data using advanced statistical methods and visualization tools
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for health equity initiatives
- Coordinate with community partners and stakeholders on health promotion programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and federal agencies
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and accreditation standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and GIS mapping
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong knowledge of CA public health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
