Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risk factors across LA County's diverse communities
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for public health interventions and resource allocation
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to design culturally responsive health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations for county leadership and public dissemination
- Monitor compliance with state and federal public health regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives addressing health equity and social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis and program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of California public health regulations and Title X requirements
- Experience with community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to county sites
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
