Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions and prevention programs
- Collaborate with community partners to implement health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations and grant requirements
- Conduct research on social determinants of health affecting vulnerable populations
- Provide technical support to cross-functional health department teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of public health or healthcare analytics experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and CA health regulations
- Excellent written communication skills for reports and presentations
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive data access
