Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Develop evidence-based public health policies in alignment with California Department of Public Health guidelines
- Coordinate with community organizations to implement health education programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health agencies
- Manage grant-funded projects addressing health disparities in underserved neighborhoods
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Knowledge of CA Title 22 regulations and local health ordinances
- Experience with community engagement and multicultural populations
- Valid California driver's license
- PH certification or equivalent preferred
