Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets totaling $500k+
- Conduct community needs assessments and health impact evaluations
- Lead crisis response initiatives for public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health officials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health or healthcare
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated success in securing federal/state grants
- Experience with community-based participatory research methods
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable transportation
