Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies for vulnerable populations
- Coordinate cross-agency health initiatives with local hospitals and non-profits
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and public health leadership
- Manage grants and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead community outreach programs on disease prevention and wellness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) preferred
- Experience with CDC grant management protocols
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills required
