Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health datasets to identify emerging health trends and disparities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for city health initiatives
- Coordinate community outreach programs and stakeholder engagement
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for public officials
- Monitor compliance with federal/state health regulations and grant requirements
- Leverage GIS mapping to visualize health outcomes and resource allocation
- Lead cross-departmental projects addressing public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis and program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Ability to interpret complex health policies and regulations
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
