Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education programs targeting Tulsa County residents
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and report on public health trends
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations for resource allocation
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop public health emergency response protocols for Tulsa metropolitan area
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations for state-level initiatives
- Train frontline healthcare workers on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program coordination experience
- Oklahoma state residency required at time of hire
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency with health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience developing community partnerships in diverse urban settings
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends for community events
