Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide emergency health response protocols
- Coordinate with NYCDOH, FEMA, and community organizations during public health crises
- Lead vaccination and testing campaigns during outbreaks
- Train public health staff on emergency procedures and resource allocation
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic interventions
- Manage grants and funding for emergency preparedness programs
- Conduct public briefings and maintain transparent communication channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Experience with NYC public health systems and protocols
- Strong data analysis and crisis communication skills
- Ability to work 24/7 during declared emergencies
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
