Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide public health strategies aligned with national health standards
- Oversee departmental budget management ($2M+ annual allocation) and grant compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies and crisis response
- Collaborate with state health agencies to implement immunization and disease prevention programs
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations for county commissioners
- Manage community outreach initiatives targeting underserved populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health leadership experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Expertise in healthcare policy development and grant writing
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in health informatics systems
- Proven crisis management experience during public health emergencies
- Valid Indiana driver's license
