Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based health policies addressing systemic inequities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers
- Develop legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks for Board review
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and conduct impact assessments
- Manage $2M+ grant budgets for public health initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise cross-functional project teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in health policy development and analysis
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis (SPSS/R/Python)
- Proven track record in health equity initiatives and community-based participatory research
- Deep understanding of Washington State public health regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Experience supervising cross-functional teams
