Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement surge capacity protocols for healthcare facilities
- Lead contact tracing and outbreak investigation teams
- Manage distribution of medical countermeasures and PPE resources
- Conduct community risk assessments and vulnerability mapping
- Train public health staff on emergency procedures and incident command
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and state emergency management agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Emergency Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential required
- Proven expertise in incident command system (ICS) implementation
- Strong data analysis skills for epidemiological reporting
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during emergency activations
- Experience with federal grant reporting (HRSA, CDC, FEMA)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
