Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and execute emergency preparedness protocols for pandemics, natural disasters, and bioterrorism
- Analyze real-time epidemiological data to inform strategic resource allocation
- Train 500+ frontline healthcare workers in emergency response procedures
- Liaise with FEMA, CDC, and state health department officials
- Manage crisis communication strategies across 15+ languages
- Lead community vaccination and testing campaigns during outbreaks
- Oversee deployment of mobile health units to underserved neighborhoods
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent designation required
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software (ESRI, WebEOC)
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-agency responses
- Strong bilingual skills in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during emergencies
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
