Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies for diverse DC communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform resource allocation and policy decisions
- Manage cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, NGOs, and federal partners
- Conduct rapid needs assessments during public health emergencies
- Oversee vaccine distribution and mass vaccination campaign logistics
- Prepare comprehensive situational reports for senior leadership and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in public health emergency response
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in GIS mapping and health data visualization tools
- Proven crisis communication experience with diverse populations
- Strong knowledge of FEMA, CDC, and HHS frameworks
- Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
