Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute public health emergency response plans across Tarrant County
- Lead multi-agency crisis response operations during public health emergencies
- Develop and implement community outreach strategies for emergency preparedness
- Analyze public health data to inform risk mitigation and response decisions
- Train and mobilize volunteer emergency response teams
- Prepare urgent reports for county leadership and state health authorities
- Manage emergency supply chains and resource allocation protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Valid Texas Public Health Emergency Coordinator certification
- Proven ability to lead high-pressure emergency operations
- Advanced knowledge of NIMS/ICS frameworks and FEMA protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for multi-stakeholder coordination
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends during emergencies
