Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement crisis communication protocols for diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic resource allocation
- Led cross-departmental task forces including health, fire, and law enforcement
- Oversee field operations during public health emergencies
- Prepare and maintain emergency response plans and training materials
- Monitor emerging health threats and recommend preemptive measures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health emergency response coordination
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Proven crisis leadership in government or healthcare settings
- Expertise in data-driven decision making during emergencies
- Strong familiarity with FEMA/NIMS protocols
- Ability to work 24/7 during critical incidents
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
