Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response operations across county departments and community partners
- Develop and implement public health crisis communication strategies
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare emergency action plans for natural disasters and pandemics
- Train and deploy emergency response teams across 25+ community sites
- Manage data-driven decision-making processes during public health incidents
- Secure and distribute critical medical supplies to frontline workers
- Collaborate with FEMA and state health agencies on disaster recovery protocols
- Lead community outreach initiatives for vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of crisis response coordination experience
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proven ability to manage multi-agency partnerships under pressure
- Expertise in public health data analysis and reporting tools
- Strong familiarity with FEMA and CDC emergency protocols
- Experience with culturally competent outreach strategies
- Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to work irregular hours
