Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response during public health crises (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters)
- Develop and execute real-time communication strategies for public alerts and stakeholder briefings
- Manage deployment of field teams and resources to affected SF neighborhoods
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic response decisions
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and state health officials on unified protocols
- Conduct post-incident reviews to refine emergency procedures
- Train community health workers on crisis response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 2+ years experience in public health crisis response or emergency management
- Active FEMA certification (preferred: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Tableau)
- Clear understanding of HIPAA compliance during emergency operations
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
