Responsibilities
- Lead emergency health response initiatives during public health crises
- Develop and implement community health education programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health interventions
- Coordinate with city agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded health equity projects
- Prepare public health reports for municipal leadership
- Conduct field investigations for disease outbreaks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health emergency response experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Proficiency in epidemiological software (e.g., Epi Info, SAS)
- Experience with community-based participatory research
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergencies
