Responsibilities

- Collaborate with local health departments, FEMA, and CDC during multi-agency incident command operations
- Prepare and distribute emergency public health advisories and resource deployment orders
- Conduct after-action reviews and update emergency response protocols based on overnight incident data
- Manage confidential public health data systems with HIPAA-compliant security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel during emergencies if required
- Proficiency with GIS mapping, incident command systems (ICS-300), and emergency notification platforms
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex health data and threat assessments
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent preferred
