Responsibilities
- Provide clinical immunizations and health screenings for underserved communities
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and outbreak response coordination
- Develop culturally competent health education materials and community workshops
- Collaborate with schools, clinics, and non-profits on population health initiatives
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and disaster response protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years public health or community nursing experience
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) or epidemiology preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish highly desirable
- Strong data analysis skills with EHR systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
