Responsibilities
- Coordinate disease surveillance and outbreak response protocols for Fresno County
- Provide expert clinical consultations for high-risk populations including maternal-child health
- Develop and deliver public health education programs across diverse communities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to implement health initiatives
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and prepare comprehensive surveillance reports
- Maintain accurate immunization registry data and ensure compliance with state regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse License (RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of public health or community nursing experience
- Certification in Public Health Nursing (PHN) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with epidemiological data analysis
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
