Responsibilities
- Analyze state health legislation and regulatory impacts
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with local health departments and community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Monitor federal health policy changes and assess NC implications
- Manage grant-funded health equity projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Proficient in health data analysis (SPSS/R/SAS)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of NC state legislative processes
- Experience with health equity initiatives
