Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive public health reports for city council and community stakeholders
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives for emergency preparedness response
- Design program evaluation frameworks to assess intervention effectiveness
- Advocate for health equity policies through legislative testimony and public forums
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting underserved communities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of government/public health policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with health program evaluation methodologies
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
- Strong knowledge of CDC/Minnesota Department of Health guidelines
