Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health campaigns targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to coordinate resources
- Develop educational materials and conduct outreach programs underserved populations
- Monitor program effectiveness through KPI tracking and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Advocate for evidence-based health policies at local government meetings
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or community health initiatives
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health information systems
- Strong understanding of CDC guidelines and public health emergency response protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated public speaking experience
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and reliable transportation for field work
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
