Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community needs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits for outreach initiatives
- Develop educational materials on health topics like disease prevention and wellness
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community health assessments and prepare impact reports
- Represent the department at public meetings and stakeholder forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
