Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify policy gaps in vulnerable communities
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for city-wide health initiatives
- Coordinate with 12+ community health centers on implementation strategies
- Prepare legislative briefings for PA General Assembly committees
- Lead health equity impact assessments for proposed policies
- Manage $2M+ grant budgets for public health programs
- Mentor junior analysts through agency's leadership development program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy Analysis, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for health data modeling
- PA residency required (must establish within 30 days)
- Experience with health equity frameworks (e.g., Hahn's Model)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- PHRP or CHES certification preferred
- Clearances: FBI fingerprinting and child abuse history
