Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs for underserved communities
- Collaborate with local health departments, NGOs, and community stakeholders to coordinate response strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams to address complex public health emergencies
- Conduct program evaluations and recommend improvements to service delivery
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health analysis experience in government or non-profit settings
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis using SPSS, R, or SAS
- Proven track record of developing successful community health initiatives
- Strong knowledge of California public health statutes and regulations
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or Public Health Analyst (PHA) credential preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
