Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and intervention priorities
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships to address social determinants of health
- Manage grant budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Train community health workers and local stakeholders on program protocols
- Prepare detailed reports for legislative briefings and policy recommendations
- Lead crisis response during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public program management
- California Public Health Certification (CPH) or eligibility
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of Title X/Medicaid compliance requirements
- Valid California driver's license
