Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health education campaigns targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations for resource mobilization
- Develop and maintain vaccination outreach programs for vulnerable populations
- Lead emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health outcomes and program effectiveness
- Collaborate with state and federal agencies on border health initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health information systems
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and public health grant management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality regulations
