Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform statewide public health policy recommendations
- Collaborate with legislators and community stakeholders on health equity initiatives
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes affecting public health programs
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for emergency response coordination
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in health policy advocacy initiatives
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
