Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and program effectiveness
- Coordinate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and funding agencies
- Lead health education initiatives and community outreach campaigns
- Monitor emerging public health threats and coordinate response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program coordination or community health
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
