Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health outreach strategies for underserved communities in Tarrant County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and program gaps
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with hospitals, schools, and non-profits
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Train community health workers and volunteer networks
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state leadership and funding agencies
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Bilingual English/Spanish certification required
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health privacy laws
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential preferred
