Responsibilities
- Coordinate and evaluate disease prevention programs across 5 Massachusetts counties
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and intervention opportunities
- Develop community outreach strategies targeting vulnerable populations
- Liaise with federal agencies (CDC, NIH) and local health departments
- Manage program budgets and compliance with state/funding requirements
- Train healthcare professionals on new public health protocols
- Prepare monthly reports for the Department of Public Health leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years program coordination experience in government/nonprofit
- Proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Experience with grant reporting and budget management
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
