We're seeking a dedicated Public Health Program Coordinator to develop and implement evidence-based initiatives addressing chronic disease prevention, health equity, and emergency preparedness. Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health intervention programs targeting at-risk populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and resource allocation needs
- Collaborate with community partners and healthcare providers to coordinate outreach initiatives
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets with federal/state funding sources
- Conduct community health assessments and prepare actionable reports for policymakers
- Lead emergency preparedness planning for public health crises
- Monitor compliance with CDC/NC DHHS regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health or healthcare
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills with diverse community organizations
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- PH certification (CPH) preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
