Responsibilities
- Design and oversee public health programs addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate community outreach and education initiatives in partnership with local organizations
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets for public health initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community leaders, and city departments
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and recommend strategic improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with community engagement and culturally competent outreach
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
